Moon Marble in Bonner Springs
Moon Marble is a lively experience from the moment you walk in. The old school music sets the mood and my kids started to jam. There is a store right as you walk in with Marbles, (of course) and every toy imaginable from your childhood. Toys, unfortunately that kids no longer play with as much. Such as, yo-yo's, slinky's, etchasketch, and pick-up sticks. The most exciting part was experiencing the glass being molded and shaped by some hot, hot fire. We watched as he turned a long piece of glass into a marble. The instructor was super friendly. Answering any and all questions. You can purchase the marble they make right there for $25 dollars. However not all marbles are made right there. As he walked around with the finished product someone said that the inside of the marble looked like a galaxy, and I couldn't of agreed more. It was fascinating to see what glass and fire and a little dye can do. So interesting. I will never look at Marbles the same. It might be called Moon Marble but they have every toy from under the Sun!
